"Beyond Prejudice" – mental health stigma and recovery among black and minority ethnic communities in Scotland. The DVD explores mental health issues in BME communities with members of BME communities voicing their personal experiences of stigma, impact of racism on mental health, and attitudes of family and communities. It also explores the way some people have overcome their mental health issues, whether through support, community activities or medication. This DVD is free to download, but we ask you to fill in a form for your contact details so that we can contact you for evaluation purposes. Beyond Prejudice was developed by VOX, GAMH and ‘see me’, and was jointly funded by ‘see me’ and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. The DVD was launched in June 2011. Required * |
